AboutBree Paulsen is a queer writer and artist living in Southern California that loves to draw silly vampires, monsters, and various veggies. She studied animation at Laguna College of Art of Design. She has illustrated children's books for Xist Publishing and has creating the webcomic Patrik the Vampire since 2013 (currently on hiatus).
Bree just finished Garlic & the Witch (2022) with HarperCollins, a sequel to the indie bestselling middle grade graphic novel Garlic & the Vampire (2021). She is currently working on her next middle grade graphic novel The Firelight Apprentice (2024).
